Just saw on twitter where the International Space station is supposed to
have a radio contact with kids in a school in Maplewook Minnesota. You
should be able to hear the astronauts on 145.800 FM (turn off your squelch).

ARISS ct. w/ John Glenn Middle School, Maplewood MN on 22 Feb. Set for
18:48 UTC. The contact will be direct between NA1SS and K0JDD.

Doesn't make a lot of sense because the pass data that I see isn't a very
good pass. But if you are near a radio turn in on Feb 22 around 12:48 CST
or 18:48 UTC and see if you can hear the astronauts. If they do have a
contact it will only be about 5-8 minutes. Pass data from Heavens-above
matches the time on twitter---so chances are good this will be a
contact---listen in. Remember to open your squelch.

If one of the Russian astronauts comes on the radio you can really
tell---pretty cool. You can use an HT and any ol vertical
antenna---nothing special is needed to listen.
